Caroling in Hospitals
Caroling events are planned for the University Hospital in Hamburg Eppendorf, Marienkrankenhaus in Hamburg Marienthal, as well as on the other side of the Atlantic, at Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City. In addition, we are seeking partners for the event to equally take place in Calcutta, India.
Christmas Musical
To raise funds for our Caroling events in hospitals, we are planning a Christmas Musical entitled ‚Tis the Season‘ that takes Dilly across the globe and lets children explore how people celebrate Christmas around the world.
Outreach Initiative in 2024: Caroling for One World
Accompanied by dignitaries and diplomats as well as a group of musicians from Northern Germany, the Culture Dilly, led carolers into a medley of Christmas songs – several well-known favorites in English and in German, as well as a few delights in other languages.

Um 17:00 Uhr – Konzert im Ronald McDonald Haus in Eppendorf – nur für die Patient:innen und deren Familien, die gerade im RMH beherbergt sind. – geschlossene Veranstaltung

Accompanied by dignitaries and diplomats as well as a group of musicians from Northern Germany, the Culture Dilly led carolers into a medley of Christmas songs – several well-known favorites in English and in German, as well as a few delights in other languages.

Begleitet von einflussreichen Persönlichkeiten und Mitgliedern des diplomatischen Korps sowie von Musikern aus Norddeutschland, leitete das Culture Dilly das Publikum zu einem Medley aus Weihnachtsliedern an – einige bekannte Favoriten auf Englisch und Deutsch sowie einige Überraschungen in anderen Sprachen.
After the concert in the Main Entrance Hall of the Children’s Hospital of the University Hospital in Hamburg, Eppendorf, some of the dignitaries helped the Culture Dilly deliver presents to the children on the individual wards as well. In the end, the Culture Dilly also brought presents for the families at the Ronald McDonald Haus in Eppendorf and surprised them with a few songs.

Nach dem Konzert im Foyer des Kinder-UKEs begeisterten die Weichnachtsänger und der Culture Dilly auch auf den Stationen der Kinderkardiologie und der PHO – Ambulanz die Kinder und deren Familien mit einem kleinen Konzert und einer Bescherung. Am Ende hat das Culture Dilly auch noch Geschenke für die Familien im Ronald McDonald Haus in Eppendorf mitgebrachte und sie mit ein paar Liedern überrascht.
